What does the number of MySQL databases mean in hosting plans? Unlimited within the database?
pyro1509 asked:
When a hosting plan says MySQL databases: 5, 10, 15.. etc
What does this mean?
Can I have unlimited tables within each database?
Can the tables have unlimited entries?

It should be unlimited tables and rows but the database itself(count) is limited
so u can make only 5,10,15 databases

Yes normally you would have a database for a forum then a gallery then a cms if you are using them.
It limits the amount of separate databases for applications but you can of coarse use a single database for many applications but this could put a lot of load on it and slow it down.
To be honest, you can go to Hostgator.com and get unlimited databases with unlimited space and bandwidth so its not something that anyone needs to worry about these days as they are becoming more and more available.
